Who is the ATA for?
Initially the ATA is providing a training and qualifications framework for fabricators and installers  of aluminium glazing and walling systems.  All fabricators and installers should use the ATA as a route to qualifications recognised across the construction industry.

What qualification will I get?
The ATA approach to training and qualifications will lead you to NVQ's level 2 or 3.  Installers will gain a CSCS card?

What is an NVQ?
An NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) is awarded to people who can demonstrate the right range and level of skill.  They are available in most industries and are recognised by most employers.

What is a CSCS card?
A CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card is awarded to construction workers who have demonstrated their skills and knowledge (generally through an NVQ) and also hold a health and safety certificate.  They are essential for people wanting to work on most of the larger building sites.

How do I get involved?
You can either ask the ATA to put you in contact with a Centre of excellence or if you are a larger employer you can become a Centre of excellence.
